CALENDAR OF EVENTS (below)

The Lawrence Jayhawk Kennel Club hosts a 2-day all-breed conformation show and obedience trial in October. 

Club members are active in a variety of doggie events, including obedience, conformation, agility, herding, lure coursing, tracking, earth dog, carting, search and rescue, pet-assisted therapy, breed-specific rescue, service dog training, judging, and K-9 law enforcement training.

The Club supports and assists the Lawrence Humane Society and donates books on dogs to the Lawrence Public Library.

September 13

Special Program on Canine Dentistry at our monthly meeting. Click here for details! The presentation is free and open to the public.

September 15

Enrollment for the fall session of training classes, Building 1, Douglas County Fairgrounds.

October 9

Due to scheduling conflicts, there will be no AKC All-Breed Show, Obedience and Rally Trial in 2010. However on October 9 we will hold an Obedience and Rally Show And Go and a Puppy Conformation Match.
